On April 28, 2017 at approximately 2:15 PM, an officer from Angels Camp PD arrested Glenn L. On April 27, 2017 the Calaveras Sheriff's department arrested Kevin Bradley Goff (48) of Lodi on Main Street in Murphys.

At the Calaveras Supervisor meeting on April 25, 2017 the District 5 Supervisor Clapp asked for an agenda item to see about banning farm animals from residential areas.
He says his voters don't like horses, chickens, goats, etc. in the Rancho Calaveras subdivision, which he represents. They also don't like the animals to get out on the roadways.

In an unprecedented move the Los Angeles City Council voted to BAN any entertainment the uses wild animals. Ringling Bros. Circus is closing down partly because they can no longer use their bullhook trained elephants to entertain the public who likes seeing animals hurt.
