Dear Sierra Sentinel:
I was watching Senator Ted Cruz speaking live on CSPAN today as he was praising Judge Gorsuch to be confirmed.
In his speech, he condemned the 'radical left' for opposing him and I found myself wondering what is 'radical left'?
If radical left is womens rights to choose, then I guess I am a radical left. If radical left is allowing same sex marriage and other LGBT rights then I guess I'm radical left.
What if I'm for giant corporations and the wealthy paying their fair share of taxes? What if I feel that all people, no matter how poor or sick, should have good health care?
What if I believe that no corporations should be able to hide their money in black holes for campaign purposes? And what if I think religion should not be allowed to control our government in any way? Do all these things mean that I am a 'radical left'?
Well, then, if that is the case, call me proudly a 'RADICAL LEFT' Mr. Cruz. And to think I used to believe I was a moderate!!
