Look out! My name is
Mary and I'm coming
after YOU!!
The City of Angels Camp is forcing ratepayers to have new meters. They say they don't want to have to pay their meter readers to open the meter box to read it. They can then layoff people. The workers say MARY is ordering it!!!
Are they NOT telling you that the new meters will possibly ready twice the amount of water and your bills are going up??? Of course not. That's the City of Angels Camp for you!!!

We all know you can't trust the city. Throw out the council. They're the ones allowing her to do whatever she wants.
If they are going to new digital meters0 chances are the older houses reads will go up. The older the meter, just like a clock, they only slow down so the city has been losing revenue on water passing through but not registering on the meter. The big question would be how are they going to pay for the upgrades? I would assume for the equipment and labor your talking $500,000+. If it is gradual as the meters need replacing it makes sense since the new lead free meters that the wonderful state of California requires are compatible for this. Huge waste of money if they want to do it any other way. Think about this, 3 yrs ago a normal hose faucet at hardware store maybe $10, now the lead free more like $20

I hear Mary Kelly, is that the one, wants a big raise.
Mary is just as bad as the last city man. I hear they want to raise water rates too!
Mary Kelly is the meanest, nastiest woman I ever knew. Wouldn't trust her to walk to the driveway.
Who idn't know the city is a bunch of crooks, huh?
I believe it.
