UPDATE: We are attempting to find out why Calaveras Supervisor Oliveira chose to be so rude to Mr. Magana, since he allows he nut case friends
like McmAnus to speak at length about anything he wishes.
Michael Magana, a Calaveras County employee and SEIU rep went to the podium during Public Comments at the Calaveras Supervisors meeting on May 23, 2017.
He tried to talk about problems
with negotiations and Chair Michael Oliveira stopped him mid-sentence, demanding a Closed Session with Counsel.
When Oliveira returned he gave Magana a lecture about what he could and could not say. Magana was then allowed to speak. Why Oliveira stopped him is unclear.
There is quite a bit of controversy over this apparently unwarranted interruption, including accusations of racism by Oliveira.

Here is a novel idea, perhaps, the county and seiu are in negotiations?
Magana is a nice guy.
Racism is rampant at the planning commission as everyone knows.and the supes appoint them.
