On May 15, 2017 at approximately 11 AM officers from the Angels Camp Police Department served a search warrant in the 300 block of South Main Street, related to an investigation involving the sales of marijuana.
Four people were detained during the service of the search warrant, and evidence items related to the investigation were seized. Evidence items included cell phones and other indicators related to the sales of marijuana.
This investigation began, according to ACPD, when police received information from multiple sources, related to the sales of marijuana to minors.
This information was corroborated and ultimately resulted in a judge authorizing a search warrant.
Joshua D. Gladden, a 29 year old Angels Camp resident, was arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail on a felony charge allegedly related to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child endangerment.
This investigation is ongoing. No further information will be released at this time.
