Why do people dump, abandon or abuse animals?

Please help fight against these cruel,
sick individuals!  Adopt a
homeless pet!

   It seems that some people are simply low in IQ, abusive in nature or mentally ill these days. Some people move away and simply abandon their animals in Calaveras County.
   In Lodi, we saw a report that the local humane society has had animals tied up to railings, left in boxes or in the dumpster outside their facility.

   What is worse is the evidence that some mentally ill are actually enjoying poisoning or in some other way harming animals.  It's hard to comprehend, but it's true!
