Greta Van Susteren, a veteran of FOX News joined the MSNBC lineup in January, 2017. She had a problem getting ratings necessary to get good sponsors.
Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell have exceptionally high ratings and Van Susteren just couldn't seem to get a fan base. Thursday, June 29, 2017 was her last day. Ari Melberg will take her place next week.
