No more elected officers in Angels Camp???

   The City of Angels Camp is becoming more and more a Trump authoritarian government, and it isn't likely the voters have any say in it.  

    The Chief of Police should be an elected position. His authoritarian grip on citizens is beyond belief and the City Council allows it.

    Now they are making the City Clerk and Treasurer simply appointed positions at the next City Council meeting on June 6, 2017, so the voters cannot challenge them.  They do not like to be challenged!!

   It is likely that the City Council will change theirs to appointments before long.
