According to the CHP report, on July 15, 2017 around 10:15 PM Joshua Hutchinson (43) of Santa Clara was riding his 2016 KTM 390 Duke motorcycle northbound on Whiskey Slide Road approaching Murray Creek Road in Mountain Ranch at approximately 60 MPH while allegedly intoxicated.
Due to his level of intoxication, per the report, Hutchinson allowed the motorcycle to travel off the roadway onto the west shoulder of Whiskery Slide road.
Hutchinson then lost control of the motorcycle and he fell to the ground, suffering major injuries as a result of the collision.
Hutchinson was arrested for driving a vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was taken to Mark Twain Hospital for treatment.
