UPDATE at 12:40 PM: Both lanes of Murphys Grade Road are still blocked. Tow truck responding to the scene.
August 28, 2017 at 12:20 PM: Fire personnel have been dispatched to the Murphys Grade Road at upper French Gulch Road in Murphys, where a fire has apparently been reported. A vehicle was found fully involved.
It did escape into the wild but it was quickly contained. The car was empty of occupants. It was started with a vehicle collision, non-injury.
