Well known as the Drunken Question Mark in Murphys, the intersection created when Kautz wanted to develop Bret Harte Center, got a slight improvement lately. There was a lot of suspicion when Tryon and Caltrans got that mess created.
Costing a mere $2.2 million, the Hwy 4 and Big Trees Road intersection got sidewalks, wheelchair ramps and new gutters. It does not help with the main problem, however, of being a Drunken
Question Mark, and is still dangerous!!
