On November 25, 2017 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Lisa Marie Owens (46) of Valley Springs on Silver Rapids Drive in Rancho Calaveras.

On November 24, 2017 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested Tyler Allen Gress (25) of Valley Springs on Silver Rapids Road at Hogan Dam Road.

   The Angels Camp Police department did not take the Thanksgiving holiday off, but instead made several arrests.

   Alleged battery, possession of controlled substance, DUI, reckless driving and bringing a controlled substance into jail were causes for arrest.

Fatal collision with bear in Douglas Flat

   UPDATE:  The names of the victims in this collision are Sarah Rohde (27) and her 19 month old daughter Ariana. The bear, who was also killed, was not known to have a name.

   Nebraska regulators approved the Keystone Pipeline this morning, despite a leak in the existing pipeline that has spilled over the land.

   At the Calaveras Supervisor meeting on November 14, 2017 District 3 Supervisor Oliveira announced that he will be meeting with church groups about the cannabis issue.

AT&T wants all communications from White House--DOJ about CNN

   Due to Trumps rant against the CNN organization, promising to stop any acquisitions involving AT&T and Time Warner, the lawsuit should be very interesting.

   AT&T already has stated they want all communications between the WH and DOJ. They aren't stupid. They feel that Trump is so mad at CNN he would attempt to hurt them financially. The Trump WH wants all cable stations to only say GOOD things about him. HE wants them to LIE???

   On November 12, 2017 around 12:45 AM, Angels Camp Police arrested J. Carroll Joseph Troche (20) of Sonora at an apartment on Stanislaus.
