UPDATE: We just learned that when you sign the permit to allow the contractor to cut down your trees, you can check a box saying you want to keep the trees they fall.
You are not forced to give your trees away to the cutters.
If you have dead trees from the bug problem the company hired by Calaveras to cut them down and remove them will be making the rounds in Ebbetts Pass. Between 3,000 to 8,000 trees are dead.
Mr. Oliveira is making sure that Blue Lake Springs (his subdivision) will be the first ones cleared. But did you know that this company will be selling these trees to SPI and other appropriate companies??
