Be careful about Gary Stevens as a candidate

  UPDATE:  Again, we thank a valuable anonymous source. People who care about the country and the county, before themselves.

 After hearing that Gary Stevens, a candidate for Calaveras Sheriff is less than honorable,
despite claims he has made, we want to caution voters.

   We have been told he has held meetings with known racists, discussing ways to promote himself among them and thereby win elective office.

   That is one of the scariest things we have heard from a candidate, who claims to be an extreme religious zealot, and to be a better choice than DiBasilio. 

   We will be reporting on the details a source has given to us.  This is scary stuff, voters!!  He is also, we are told, known to go around accusing people of crimes falsely; claims to know people he does not, and to make all his decisions based on his White Supremacist religious beliefs.

   One other problem he has is that he is anti-business, in our opinion; not caring if people have work in Calaveras County; not caring about following up on or preventing crimes to local businesses.

   Is there ANY truly good and respectable candidate for Sheriff in Calaveras???
