Dottie Jean Lenfestey was born on July 2, 1927 in Baker City, Oregon and passed away at her home in Valley Springs on January 25, 2018 of natural causes.
Dottie graduated from Linden High School, got married an was a
housewife for 67 years.
A member of Stone Corral Church, she was the organist for several years and also played the accordion for church specials.
Dottie is survived by her sister Donna Powers of Valley Springs. She was preceded in death by her brother Roland Stowell of Valley Springs and her spouse Norman E. Lenfestey, who died in 2014.
She is also survived by her children Anita Tallman (Lee), Norma Ecker (Brad), and Richard Lenfestey (Kim), 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
The family wants to thank her caregivers, Anita, Norma, Richard and Bristol Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday February 3, 2018 at 11 AM at Stone Corral Church, with a potluck to follow the service.
