Born on May 7, 1950, David Emory Longmire passed away on January 25, 2018 in San Andreas. He was 67 years old.
He graduated from
Tokay High School in Lodi in 1967, served in the US Army and then attended college. He worked for the Department of Transportation of California (Caltrans).
He loved to be with his family and friends, loved going to Capitola and also loved the mountains.
He loved to explore different adventures in life, sporting events an his live concerts. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and fishing.
He took his sons Dave and Steven to live sporting games at the Bay Area teams. He and his wife enjoyed going to crab feeds with their friends and also they enjoyed live music events.
They loved working on gardening and exploring new adventures in life together.
Dave is survived by his wife Cassandra F. Longmire, to whom he was married for 41 years, sons David E. Longmire II and Steven G. Longmire of Tracy, and brother Richard Longmire and sister-in-law Cathy Longmire of Lodi.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
