The Sheriff DiBasilio is not trusted enough, nor does he make the public feel safe under his command, apparently, since he could not pull the necessary 51% to avoid a runoff.
In November he will face Gary Stevens, the pro-ban candidate.
In District 3 Callaway got the most votes, but not the 50% required to avoid a runoff and will face Oliveira in a runoff for Supervisor.
In District 5 Clapp and Stopper will face each other in a runoff for Supervisor, as they tied with 31% of the votes each.
