The combined Ranch and River Fires are now the Mendocino Complex Fire. The total acreage burned so far is 225,001 and it is only 21% contained as of this morning, August 6, 2018 .
75 homes have been destroyed and nearly 10,000 are threatened. Evacuations are in effect.
