UPDATE at 2:20 PM: Just saw the spotter plane go over Arnold headed for Murphys. 1/2 acre in size at this time, into the timber. Possible for several hundred acres, no structures threatened at this time.
Tanker just dropped first load.
UPDATE: This is a vegetation fire on Pennsylvania Gulch Road near Big Valley Road in Murphys. Fire personnel
are now responding.
September 20, 2018 at 2 PM: A car fire has been reported on Hwy 4 at Pennsylvania Gulch Road in Murphys.
Fire personnel are responding to the scene.
