According to CHP on September 15, 2018 Lee D. Glenn (60) of Railroad Flat, was riding a 2001 Extreme Motorcycle on Railroad Flat Road south of Sierra Oaks Drive at an unknown speed.
As the roadway curved to the left, Glenn Failed to follow the roadway and allowed his motorcycle to drive off the right roadway edge, where it struck a tree.
The motorcycle and Glenn came to rest at the bottom o a steep culvert, 10-12 feet below the roadway edge.
Glenn was reported as missing to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department and CHP and a search was made of an area south of the collision scene Monday night and Tuesday afternoon, based on GPS from Glenn's cell phone.
A CHP airplane, Air-21 was used to search from the sky. All searches were unsuccessful. The collision was discovered on September 18, 2018 at 5:30 PM by a resident checking their mailbox.
The collision is still under investigation. No further information is available at this time. Alcohol or drug use is not known at this time, per CHP.
