On Tuesday October 2, 2018 the City of Angels Camp will approve hiring a new Police Chief since Todd Fordahl has moved to Tennessee.
The new Chief will be Scott Ellis, who was once an officer in the city. He has been a Seargant in Turlock for the past few years.
Even though the City is hiring a new Chief, they have also contracted with the Calaveras Sheriff's Office to cover the city 24 hours a day. Call 911 if you need help.
