On September 11, 2018 Joe Pitto came to the podium to say Jack Garamendi met with him on the road the county wants to work on, promising to notify him when work will be done. He apologized to Garamendi.
He said Gwinn Mine Road should have been already repaired if it were not for malfeasance at the county level. He threatened to file a complaint with the Grand Jury.
