Rick DiBasilio came before the Calaveras Supervisors to explain that there may be legal ramifications due to the fact that their cannabis sniffing dog tries to do HITS on people with legal marijuana.
They have had to more the dog into the jail, and off the street due to this problem. They will also be retraining the dog. He indicated there may be lawsuits!!

I'm not sure how you would train a dog so it would know if the cannabus was legal or not! Really! I would think that's the chance you take.
That’s a lack of proper training, and therefore a lack of leadership. He needs to go.
I got a question for the last person. Just how would you train a dog to know the difference between legal and illegal?
Maybe ALL marijuana ought to be illegal again! Problem solved!
