Spelling Bee winners mostly from Hwy 4 corridor

   The 2019 Calaveras County Spelling Bee had 4 top winners:

   David Messinger, sixth grader
from Mark Twain Elementary
   Addy Heermance, seventh grader from Avery Middle School and Cooper Oliver, eighth grader, also of Avery Middle School.

   The one winner from the other end of the county was Alixic Horfacher, a ninth grade student from Calaveras High School.
