Two teens electrocuted trying to save a dog

   In Dixon yesterday, authorities were called to a field near the canal off Dixon Road
in Dixon for two teens that were unresponsive.

   Apparently the two were rescuing a dog from the canal when they came into contact with electrical wires in the area.

   Both teens died. The dog was taken to the animal shelter and is expected to recover from its
injuries.
