Quite a few people put up covers, tents, sun shades, etc. to block the rain so they could watch the destruction derbyyesterday, we are told.
They thought they could make it through with a little cover, but FAIRGROUNDS management came around a made them take them down.
We do not understand the logic of this, or many of the decisions made by fair management. Sorry,
folks!
