Body in burned-out vehicle investigation

   The body found in the burned out vehicle near Hwy 4 and Telegraph in Copperopolis on the
29th of May, 2019 is still part of an investigation by the Calaveras Sheriff's Office.

    A man later that day arrested near the site of the vehicle was tied in some way to the vehicle, but they are waiting for autopsy results before releasing names. It is being treated as a homocide.
