UPDATE: Per fire on scene, fire is now under control.
UPDATE: Very interesting that fire personnel appear to be questioning the dispatcher about who reported the fire and whether they should really go out
or if state employees should go out from the park.
November 1, 2019 at 7:25 PM: An oversized campfire has been reported near the visitors center at Big Trees State Park.
Twp engines have been dispatched to the dangerous situation.
