For quite some time now officials at the Calaveras County administration have tried to get the Board of Supervisors to bring
the purchasing codes up to date and possibly centralize all purchasing.
According to the admin office departments have been allowed to 'run amuck' and purchase any way the wish, often against California State Law.
Why would the Board of Supervisors be against what is best for taxpayers and try to avoid criticism and appoint a purchasing agent to handle legally, all purchasing?
