   On April 27, 2020 around 2:40 AM Angels Camp Police arrested Sarah Lianne Rutherford (28) of Arnold on Gold Cliff Road in Angels Camp.

   Rutherford was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged 1st degree Burglary, a felony and for Occupying a residence without permission, a misdemeanor.

2 big rigs and 4 cars in Manteca collison

   April 27, 2020 at 12:10 PM:  Two big rigs and 4 cars are reportedly involved in a collision at Hwy 120 and Hwy 99 in Manteca.

   Ambulances are responding to the scene due to injuries. A pickup that rear-ended a big rig is now stuck under the truck.  The roadways are blocked.

Semi t-bones pickup outside Clements

   April 27, 2020 at 12 PM:  A semi cattle truck has reportedly t-boned a pickup on Liberty Road at Jack Tone Road outside Clements.

   An ambulance is en route to the scene due to major injuries.

Collision on Hwy 26

   April 27, 2020 at 11:05 AM:  A red truck has run into the golf course off Hwy 26 in Valley Springs after a collision.

   An ambulance is responding to the scene. The other vehicle is still on the roadway and traffic is backing up.

Arrest for stalking in Angels Camp

   On April 26, 2020 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested John Melvin Walter Cargile (35) of Avery on Main Street in Angels Camp.

   Cargile was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Stalking, a felony and for annoying phone calls, a misdemeanor.

Felony Vandalism in West Point

   On April 26, 2020 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested Collin James Arbuckle (31) of West Point on Valentine Hill Drive.

   Arbuckle was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged felony Vandalism and for Battery on a Spouse, a misdemeanor.

   On April 17, 2020 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested Jacob Roger Schulte (26) of Copperopolis at 23 E. St. Charles Street in San Andreas.

   Schulte was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Burglary during a State of Emergency, Vandalism and Violation of PRCS, all felonies.

   April 18, 2020 at 3 PM:  A large fire has been reported at Red Corral Road and Deavers Road off Hwy 26 between West Point and Pioneer.

   On April 3, 2020 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested Thomas Gerald Burton-Bechtold (29)  with no address given, on Westhill Road in Valley Springs.

    Burton Bechtold was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Attempted Murder, Assault with a deadly weapon, not a firearm, Battery with serious bodily injury and Hit and Run with injury, all felonies.

   On April 3, 2020 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested Edward Angelo Pereira (47) of Campo Seco on St. Charles Street in San Andreas.
