Oscar Lee Wood of Elephant Butte, New Mexico, passed away on May 26, 2020 at the age of 90.He was born November 17, 1929 in Mountanair, New Mexico to the late William Oscar and Anna Mae Wood, and was a lifetime resident of New Mexico.
He was an Elks Club member and a lifetime member of the NRA. He belonged to the Church of the Butte and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Oscar was preceded in death by his wife Ina Belle (Ludecke) Wood. He is survived by his son Quinton Lee Wood and wife Connie, daughters Linda Alvina Doty and husband Russ and Tommie
Carter and husband Gene, and sister Anna Lou Griener and husband Tom.
He was also blessed with eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A private family burial has already taken place.
