Two arrests in Valley Springs

   According to the Calaveras Sheriff, on June 18, 2020 deputies arrested Christopher Paul Bates (53) of Valley Springs at his home on Baldwin Street.

   Bates was booked into the Calaveras County Jail
for alleged Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale, Possession of Narcotics for Sale and Prohibited Ammunition, felonies and for Possession of Burglary Tools and  Controlled Substance Paraphernalia, misdemeanors.

   The Calaveras Sheriff log shows other arrests of Bates over the past 2 years.

   Also arrested at the time was Samantha Yvette Jefferson (43) of the same address in Valley Springs.

   Jefferson was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale and Possession of Narcotics for Sale, felonies and for Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
