Dog shot and killed in Jenny Lind

  UPDATE:  Anderson surrendered to the Calaveras County Sheriff and is being held on $1,185,000 bail.


  According to a Calaveras Sheriff deputy, on July 1, 2020 around 7:10 AM, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance
on Scenic Valley Drive in Jenny Lind.

   Apparently Roger Wayne Anderson exited his trailer and fired 4 shots after an argument with his neighbor, killing the neighbors dog, who had been barking.

    Anderson allegedly made threats against the neighbor too and then left the area before deputies
arrived.

   He is now wanted for alleged Animal Cruelty, Negligently Firing a Gun, Illegal Possession of Ammunition and Exhibiting a Firearm in a Threatening manner.
