Fire in Angels Camp

This photo taken and sent to us by a driver on Hwy 4 headed
towards Angels Camp.

  UPDATE:  Fire trucks were staged up behind the Travelodge to protect it.


 July 12, 2020 at 3:15 PM:  A grass fire has reportedly burned 13 acres near the Travelodge Motel on Hwy 49 in Angels Camp.

   One structure has been destroyed but the motel was not affected.  Aircraft from Columbia airport assisted in controlling this fire.
