If you were raised in Calaveras County, you very likely were not much aware of the unrest
of the Civil Rights Movement of the 50's and 60's.
If you asked your parents about the video reports of protests, you were likely told "It has nothing to do with us."
Now that we all know the truth, that the Declaration of Independence was only written on behalf of WHITE MEN (not even women), and that even the writer had slaves (who were not even considered to be men).
The Civil War, one hundred years later, freed the slaves, but the abuse and discrimination continued nearly another 100 years, until the 60's, when schools were integrated and EVERYONE was allowed to eat in the same restaurant.
Here we are, with another 60 years having passed, and many (including Trump), are still worshiping traitorous statues that continue to tell them White Males are Supreme over blacks.
How were you raised? Did you have elder family members who made racist comments or acted in a manner showing they felt they were better than other races? Did it rub off on you?
I bet most of us were! Tear down all statues of traitors, Trail of Tears terrorists and other white supremacist leaders of our past!
It is not changing history, it is making it right, finally!
