As of August 22, 2020 at 8:20 Calfire reports that the Santa Cruz Mountains Fire is now 63,000 acres.
Containment is 5%. 97 homes have been destroyed so far. Do not travel to Santa Cruz County until this is all over. All major highways are closed due to the fire.
