It is around 176,000 acres with 60 homes and 277 mixed commercial and residential destroyed so far.
That must be where all the smoke here is coming from now.
It is - and why they cannot get any containment is amazing. US Forestry just does not fight fires (and never have) the way Cal Fire does with lots of aggression and retardant.
Feel so sorry for the fire fighters, they are doing what they are taught to do and told to do.
Finally it is 6% contained - lots more to go!
