UPDATE: Fire has been contained to big rig; not spread into grass. This is actually closer to Appaloosa Way and Hwy 4.
UPDATE: Per CHP big rig carrying wood chips is fully engulfed. Eastbound lane is blocked by fire personnel.
October 5, 2020 at 1:20 PM: A big rig has a tire on fire on Hwy 4 at Pool Station Road in Angels Camp.
CHP and fire personnel are responding to the scene.
