Weapons arrest in Copperopolis

    After a stop of an alleged DUI driver on Hwy 4 in Copperopolis, a Calaveras deputy arrested

Kevin Russell Szigeti (25) of San Jose.

   While searching the vehicle, the deputy located a loaded semi-automatic handgun under the driver's seat, along with methamphetamine, paraphernalia and Methadone.

   Szigeti was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged felony firearm violation, Possession of a controlled substance and DUI.

   He is being held without bail at this time.
