UPDATE: Correction, this fire is near Avery Sheep Ranch and Valley View Road in Avery. It is being called the Forest Incident.
UPDATE: First on scene indicates one acre in the brush, with trees
involved.May 17, 2021 at 1:10 PM: A fire has been reported in Forest Meadows, just east of Murphys.
Several engines are responding to the scene.
