According to CHP on July 16, 2021 a 53 year old male was riding his black 2019 Harley
Davidson on Hogan Dam Road near Vista Del Lago Drive in Valley Springs.He allowed the motorcycle to veer left and off the pavement and then collide with a large rock. He wass ejected and collided with the ground, succumbing to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It isn't yet known if drugs or alcohol were involved. The name is being withheld for notification of next of kin.
