UPDATE: Fire is being contained. It started from a tire rolling across the roadway after the collison.
UPDATE: Fire is approximately 1/2 acre at this time.
July 10, 2021 at 12:20 PM: A vehicle collision has reportedly caused a grass fire on Hwy 4 at Telegraph in Copperopolis.
Several engines, water tenders and dozers are responding to the scene.
