As of August 18, 2021 at 8:25 AM the Caldor Fire, located in El Dorado County, is now 53,772 acres in size. That is nearly 30,000 more acres than reported yesterday.
No estimate of how many homes have been lost, but we did hear on one church and one school in Grizzly Flats.
