UPDATE: Forward progress on this fire is stopped. Air is dropping retardant.
August 16, 2021 at 11:30 AM: A grass fire has been reported on Hope Lane at East Jackson Street.
Currently fire is around 1/4 acre in size. Several engines and water tenders are responding.
