Jeep vs pole in Farmington
October 31, 2021 at 11:30 AM: A Jeep reportedly struck a Verizon pole on Escalon Road at Carter Road in Farmington.
Injuries are minor, but the roadway is blocked until a crew can arrive and repair the pole and lines that are down.

Not only is tree work scheduled on Hwy 4 near Big Trees this week, but roadwork is planned in Murphys, part of the left turn lane program.

Two cars trapped by rock slide
October 25, 2021 at 10:45 AM: Two cars were trapped by a rock slide on Hwy 88 near Kirkwood Ski Resort.
They have now been freed. Hwy 88 is closed while Caltrans clears the roadway.

Overnight collision in Mountain Ranch
October 22, 2021 at 8:30 AM: A vehicle that had run off Mountain Ranch Road at Rodesino Road in Mountain Ranch has been reported.
When authorities arrived the vehicle was cold and therefore must have run off the roadway during the night. A tow truck was dispatched.

After an emergency evacuation was needed in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Calfire has apologized to residents for the Estrada Fire.
They were doing a favor for a retired fire captain by control burning his land when the fire escaped and burned 174 acres, threatening several homes.

On October 9, 2021 Calaveras Sheriff Deputies arrested Sam Kelly Serra (29) of Mountain Ranch at the San Andreas DMV office.
Serra was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Assault with a deadly weapon (not a firearm), Threatening a crime with intent to terrorize, 1st degree burglary and Vandalism, all felonies.
Indecent exposure at ball park
On October 9, 2021 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested John Allen Logg (39) of Mountain Ranch at the Mountain Ranch Ball Park.
Logg was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Indecent Exposure with prior, a felony.

On October 7, 2021 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested Allen Matthew Linneman (19) of San Andreasat his residence on Neilsen St.
Linneman was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Assault with a Deadly Weapon (not a firearm), a felony.
