Retired Calfire chief has fire named after him

    The Estrada Fire, which took 467 firefighters, 4 tankers and 4 helicopters to bring under control
was on the property of the Estrada family; he is a retired Calfire battalion chief.

    They were attempting to assist Estrada in a control burn that got away.  148 acres have burned so far, near the Santa Cruz, Santa Clara County line.
