Stolen excavator arrest

    An excavator which had been stolen in Nevada was located on a property on Big Flat Road in

Murphys.

     Booked into the Calaveras County Jail was James Martin St. Louis (38) of Douglas Flat for alleged Vehicle Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Conspiracy, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and ammunition.

   Also booked into the Calaveras County Jail was David Lee Copeland (33) of Vallecito for alleged Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition, Conspiracy and Possession.
