Monarchs return in larger numbers

What a gorgeous sight to see!!!

   If you are at all familiar with the Santa Cruz coast, you know that the Western Monarch Butterfly spends its winters in the trees there.

   Larger numbers of the beautiful Monarchs have been recorded this year, than in past years.  Over 54,000 have been counted by experts.
