Caltrans FINALLY realigning Hwy 4??

    On March 18, 2022 the Stockton office of Caltrans announced that after at least 10 years of planning,

buying right of ways and various studies, they will begin the actual work of realigning Hwy 4 between Copperopolis and Angels Camp.

   This dangerous stretch of roadway is known as the Wagon Trail. It is expected to be completed in late 2023. It is estimated to cost $31 million.
