May 20, 2022 at 4:45 PM: A woman is trapped in a vehicle that ran off Caddo Circle and down a hill in Twain Harte.
She is apparently wheelchair bound and unable to free herself. Help is responding to the scene.

CalFire has suspended all burn permits due to the dry nature of the environment in Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
We've also noticed many escaped debris burns because people who burn are not following rules or being careful.

May 10, 2022 at 10:35 AM: A vehicle rollover has been reported on Hwy 49 at Sims Road in the Jamestown area.
An ambulance is responding to the scene. It is not blocking the roadway.
Fatal Collision in Mokelumne Hill
According to CHP on May 5, 2022 around 3:10 PM Nickolette G. Cook (30) of Mountain Ranch was driving on Hwy 26 near Howard Drive in Mokelumne Hill when she lost control and ran off the roadway.
Her 2004 Mustang struck a tree and the front passenger section was crushed. She did not survive the collision. It is not known if drugs or alcohol were involved.

Woman prison guard now dead
Vicky White, the woman who helped a prisoner escape last week was rushed to a hospital after shooting herself when the two were caught by authorities yesterday.
She died later in the day at the hospital. Her boyfriend, who claimed to be her husband, was arrested and taken back to prison.
